After two decades of teaching mostly from traditional law school texts–though also experimenting with very unique models like crowdsourcing authorship–I decided to embark on something new. Thus, beginning in 2018 and continuing since, I publish three textbooks in the criminal law curriculum that uniquely blend the traditional case method with a one-of-a-kind workbook format: there are no rhetorical questions, and students write in their answers as an integral part of their active reading.
